Dang, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. How very sad. :( I shall have to do something about that soon! Unfortunately, life has been busy so I'll have to find some free time, but when I do, I'll try and get some things posted. :)

So as of 2:07 yesterday I am home. It's kind of nice to be back in my own bed, but at the same time I'd still much rather be in Pierport, knowing that I still have some summer vacation left as long as I am there. But oh well, you can't have everything.
The rain is still coming down. Even here, at home, it's cloudy and gloomy and not at all pretty. It's done nothing but drizzle, and although we needed the rain, that doesn't mean I have to be happy about. I'm a sunshine and daisies person not a mud puddles and wet grass.
School registration started today and I got all my stuff for next year. I've got quite the schedule with my first trimester starting off with U.S. History, AP Literature and Composition, Economics, Pre-Calculus and Physics. It'll be hard but I'll manage. I do still have to finish my summer reading for AP Lang. & Comp. though. I've got to read three more poems and write the paragraphs to accompany them as well as finish "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man," and finish that paper. Oh and there's also "Heart of Darkness," which I have to read and write a paper for too. Fun stuff, ay?
But anyway, I've got to work tomorrow, so I should probably get to bed. Nighty night everyone.

So I realize it's been months since I last updated. Everything was a little hectic from the move, and getting all set up in school. We also don't have internet at home yet. We're working on it but it may take a while because the phone company is slow and we're out in the middle of nowhere. For now though, I'll get everyone caught up from February till now.
We moved back to little old Mecosta/Isabella county and I was once again enrolled in Chippewa Hills School District. I made some new friends, and renewed some old ones. I also got my braces off [cheers]! Spring break came pretty soon after that and I didn't do much. I went back to Ohio and visited some of my friends there.
I ended up dating someone for a couple of months. Vince was probably the best relationship I've had so far, but in the end, I had to end it because I no longer had feelings for him and, at the risk of sounding cliché, I just wanted to be friends.
Now that summer is here, I've spent about 95% of it working at Greenscene with my mother and also babysitting. I originally had some big plans for saving up the hard earned dough, but plans change and it's going towards school clothes, cds, and the usual teenage clutter. Since I've been working most of the summer I haven't really had a chance to hang out with any of my friends and that is a little disheartening. I feel a little left-out, lost and such but it's my own fault. I shouldn't have racked up my cell phone bill, or I'd have means of getting ahold of everyone.
At the moment, I'm in Pierport, MI, on vacation with my aunt. We've been here since Sunday and it's been a lot of fun. We've spent every day at the beach and saw the most magnificent sunsets ever. I've taken a million pictures which will be posted up here at some point or another (hopefully my next entry) and I found a really cute tote bag that I'm going to use for school. I had to finish reading a book for school while I was here too, and while I'm almost done, I found it excrutiatingly painful to have to finish it. I DO NOT recommend reading "The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man," by James Joyce. It's boring, badly written and just the most uninteresting story ever written. That is only my opinion of course, feel free to make your own about it.
Well it's getting pretty late, 10:17PM to be exact, and I've still got to eat dinner and read some of that lame book. Perhaps I'll write again soon...if only I can find somewhere to get on at, besides the library [sighs].
